Franciscans, All in One Set

All about High School Life

The experience of being a high school student is once in a lifetime. It is indeed true that being in a certain relationship with your classmates is the happiest thing of all. Have you ever experienced this kind of feeling in your life? This thing naturally comes in an unexpected time and place. Being an apprentice in Mina De Oro Catholic School, we are able to contain butterflies in our stomachs. Of course, there had been difficulties in the past but these challenges didn’t stop us from being strong and faithful individuals. Being independent is necessary to learn and survive all those struggles in life; however, with the help of everyone, I wonder if we did struggle in the first place.

Meet the Geniuses

They’ve became geniuses of the class. They are expected to be seen in the library. However, that’s a fallacy of generalization. The very own geniuses of III – St. Francis exist not only in the library but also in the four corners of our classroom. Their appearance and their character are deceiving; they can be smart and funny at the same time. Some may just look simple but when it comes to serious matters, the intelligence inside comes out. You can lean on them whatever happens. They can be called as nerds yet they also possess weaknesses of their own. No one is an island after all.

Discovering the World of Sports

“You win some, you lose some.”

In this school, we always celebrate intramurals. There are indoor, outdoor and athletic games. Accepting their defeat gives the true value of sportsmanship. It also encourages us students to be friendlier around our opponents. Celebrating our intramurals would give us the opportunity to show our hidden talent but also enhances our ability to do sports. With sports, we can share and develop more and more of our talents and will also enable us to meet new people.

Talents

Ever wonder who the multi-talented persons are? Guess what, you are about to enter the world of skills and artistry, the section of St. Francis of Assisi.
Our section was a package of talented students. We are experts of our own abilities that make everyone proud. Performing gives fulfillment and so as seeing happy faces in our audience. This knowledge serves as the building blocks of every Franciscans.

Friends with the Bullies

Who are the bullies in the class? Let’s welcome the top Bulliers of the Batch.
Franciscans will not be complete without the rude and naughty classmates. It is already our culture and tradition every year. Our section is known for many descriptions: noisy, talkative, and extraordinary attitudes. There are bullies but without them, Franciscans are not here too. Many are bullying some of our classmates but not in form of hurting, it is just only a joke and there’s no reason to take it serious. Absolutely, it is their way of being happy at many times and that was very common to all of us. That are the bullies and they are Franciscans!
                                                                                                                                                           -Alec Xandra Cabral-

This is the High School Life

They say that high school is our stepping stone towards success. It’s like the first door to our future. It is where we learn to make friends, learn how to laugh, and make decisions. It is also where we make mistakes that help in our development as individuals. Our teachers also provided us with wisdoms that define us today. Everyone may be different, some are geniuses, good at sports or even bullies but in the end, we’re like a family that cares for the wellness of each other. We are happy for what we have done, may it be good or a mistake for this is what high school really means to us. We are Franciscans forever.
